CLASS A UNIFORM

The Pathfinder uniform is an important part of belonging to the Triadelphia Sparks. It represents our club, the worldwide Pathfinder ministry, and the standards and values we strive to uphold.

Pathfinders should wear their uniform neatly and with pride. According to the North American Division Pathfinder uniform standards, the uniform is worn for Pathfinder meetings, Pathfinder Sabbath, Induction, Investiture, special programs, public Pathfinder activities, outreach activities, and other occasions designated by club staff.

OFFICIAL UNIFORM STANDARDS

Triadelphia Sparks follows the North American Division Pathfinder Class A Uniform Standards.

Parents who would like detailed information about uniform standards, insignia, patch placement, and authorized uniform options can consult the official NAD Pathfinder Uniform Guide.

Special note for girls: Triadelphia Sparks Girls wear skirts at church and pants on camping trips. 

WHAT PARENTS PURCHASE

Each Pathfinder family is responsible for purchasing:

✓ Black uniform pants or skirt
✓ Tan short-sleeve Pathfinder dress shirt
✓ Black Pathfinder honor sash
✓ Pathfinder belt and buckle 
✓ Girl's black tuxedo tie, when applicable
✓ Black dress shoes
✓ Plain black socks or hosiery

WHAT THE CLUB PROVIDES

Triadelphia Sparks will provide:

✓ Conference patches
✓ Yellow Pathfinder scarf/neckerchief
✓ Black Pathfinder slide
✓ Triadelphia Sparks club crest
✓ Pathfinder World patch
✓ Pathfinder triangle patch
✓ Uniform garment bag

These items will be distributed by the club so that our Pathfinders have the correct club and conference insignia.

Please note: The uniform items provided by the club will be issued one time only. If an item is lost or needs to be replaced, the family will be responsible for purchasing the replacement.

For basic uniform pieces such as black dress pants, skirts, socks, and black shoes, families are welcome to shop at Amazon or other retailers. These items do not need to come from a Pathfinder-specific store as long as they meet the uniform standards above.

💡 Tip: Children grow quickly! For pants, skirts, socks, and shoes, feel free to shop wherever you can find comfortable, affordable options that meet the uniform requirements.

PATCHES & UNIFORM SETUP

Please do not sew patches onto the uniform until you are certain of the correct placement.

Pathfinder insignia have specific locations on the Class A uniform. The club can help families make sure everything is positioned correctly.

We strongly recommend checking with a Sparks staff member before permanently attaching patches if you have any questions.

Keeping the shirt, sash, scarf, slide, belt, and other pieces together in the garment bag makes getting ready for Pathfinder events much easier!
