Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE)

Triadelphia Sparks participates in the Pathfinder Bible Experience (PBE), the official Bible study program of the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventists.

PBE gives Pathfinders an opportunity to go deeper into God’s Word while working together as a team. Pathfinders study designated books of the Bible throughout the year, learning Scripture in detail and preparing to answer questions together at PBE events.

What Are We Studying This Year?

For the 2026–2027 Pathfinder year, our PBE study books are:

The Gospel of Mark
1 Peter & 2 Peter
1 John, 2 John & 3 John

It’s a wonderful collection of New Testament books that will take us through the life and ministry of Jesus and then into powerful messages about faith, discipleship, love, truth, perseverance, and Christian living.

How Does PBE Work?

Pathfinders participate in teams of six and prepare together throughout the year. PBE has four levels of participation:

Area → Conference → Union → NAD Division Finale

Teams are tested on the assigned Bible books as well as the corresponding introductions from the Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary.

PBE is about much more than knowing the right answers. The goal is to encourage in-depth Bible study and memorization, helping Pathfinders understand Scripture more deeply and grow in their relationship with Christ.
