Introducing the Sparks Pathfinder of the Year Award!

This year, Triadelphia Sparks is introducing the Pathfinder of the Year Award for the first time!

This award will recognize Pathfinders who consistently demonstrate the values of the Pathfinder Pledge and Law throughout the entire year. It is not about being perfect, being the most talented, or competing against your friends. It is about showing commitment, responsibility, kindness, growth, and a willingness to participate and serve.

Points will be earned throughout the year in the following areas:

• Attendance at meetings, camping trips, the lock-in, and other club events

• Wearing the correct uniform and coming prepared

• Participation in activities

• Completing classwork and honors

• Leadership and helping others

• Respectful conduct and spiritual growth

• Service

• Special contributions such as PBE, drill team, worship participation, speaking, and helping with club projects

Staff will use the same objective scoring rubric for everyone. Scores will be recorded throughout the year—not decided only at the end—so that the award reflects each Pathfinder’s consistent effort and growth.

Every Pathfinder has an opportunity to earn points. You do not need to be the loudest, fastest, or most experienced. Come regularly, participate, complete your work, wear your uniform, treat others with respect, help when you can, and always do your best.

The Pathfinder of the Year will be announced at the end of the club year.

We are excited to recognize the wonderful qualities we see in our Sparks and to encourage everyone to keep growing as Pathfinders and followers of Jesus!
